Sirani
A debut novel from Tewolde H. Selassie, Sirani follows an observant young boy navigating the worlds between adolescence and adulthood. Propelled by poverty and a desire to become someone, Sirani's perseverance and tenacity shine through the muddy streets of Addis that he frequents for work. Based in the late 1990s Ethiopia, Sirani chronicles real-life events and their impacts on business, culture, and the society at large.
